**April Update** – If there is any resident who wants to honor another resident who has past, you are more than welcome to do so, just let me know. The family usually has a sign on truck or car and a picture of that person. we as a committee has honor those who have been a part of homecoming but we don’t know everyone and with Covid some residents got missed, so with having the family or a friend do it, it helps.
Any questions please call me Pat 440-728-5841
This century old tradition began in 1911. Troy Homecoming is a free community festival held annually in southern Geauga County (at 13950 Main Market Road; Burton, Ohio 44021) during the second weekend of August. In a world of agendas and high tech distractions, Troy Township residents and friends are standing out by focusing on pure old fashioned fun. A team of community oriented folk have joined forces to rekindle small town fellowship.
You are invited to participate in this beautiful gathering of families and neighbors. Enjoy the ever expanding schedule of entertainment and activities while sampling the ware of local businesses. Throughout the weekend Troy Homecoming hosts various competitions and live entertainment. Visit our “Schedule” page for details.
Do more than just attend. Become a building block to this wholesome atmosphere. Be a sponsor, vendor and/or volunteer. Also, all are welcome to attend homecoming planning meetings (last Tuesday of every month February through July at 7pm). Your contributions and fresh ideas help make this event great!
Watch as details for Troy Homecoming continue to develop.
